Stanfest – Stan Rodgers Folk Music Festival
The Stan Rodgers Folk Music Festival affectionately known as “Stanfest” attracts many of North America’s leading singer songwriters to Canso on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore to celebrate the live and music of Stan Rodgers and his enduring contribution to folk music and East Coast music. Stan immortalized many of the places on the Eastern Shore such as Guysborough and Fogarty’s Cove in his songs and his legend lives on this on in this special folk music festival.
